Best Ghosts Yet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had several iterations of Ghost, and these are the best in every respect I can assess so far. The fit is true to the model, with particular strength in the heel pocket and Achille's area. The midsole provides a divine ride, and the outer sole seems good. I like a slightly chunkier lug (e.g., on the Ghost GTX or Trail), but this one is road-worthy. We'll see how they do in terms of durability, but I'm very positive on this iteration.

My Ghost 17 shoes make it so comfortable to walk that I have actually worn one pair out and I'm on my second pair of shoes! They are the best shoes I've ever had the good fortune to wear on a daily basis.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been a fan of the Brooks Ghost for several years, starting with Ghost 14s, followed by Ghost 15s and, more recently, the Ghost Trail. These have been great everyday training and distance runners but are all surpassed by my new Ghost 17s. The 17 is more comfortable and supportive with better shock absorption than my previous Ghost 14 & 15s. And, I especially appreciate the reduced (now 10mm) drop for helping me transition to midfoot striking.

Ghost slightly different than previous ones.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wearing Ghost for 10 years now. Great cushion, great shoe. The 17 seems to be lower near the ankle and slides a hair when running. I have never had that with any Ghost before.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wearing ghost shoes for years. This pair is disappointing because the fabric by the toe appears to be very thin and upon kneeling the fabric ripped. The rubber at the front was not wide enough to cover the area. Very disappointing.
