Replacing Ghost

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a super nice shoe, provides plenty of neutral support and is not too bouncy for an early morning run. Definitely a comfortable shoe, one of the best I have had since the Ghost series, and good for everyday use as well.

Defyance Max vs Signal 3
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect fit and function. For cardio workouts and daily errands, the Defyance Max delivers. At first I had my doubts. I was very attached to the Brooks Signal 3, which has been discontinued. I don't understand why. But the Defyance Max is a suitable substitute. In a perfect scenario, I'd have both the Defyance Max and the Signal 3.

Soft, yet supportive!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been loyal to my Ghost 15's. Tried the Ghost 18's and they caused plantar fasciitis. Returned them and decided to try these. I am a heel striker. I don't run, but walk and stand a lot. I find that when standing, I lean back on my heels. I am also a woman who wears a wide. I saw this did not come in a wide, so I went with a mens size for the extra width. Perfect fit! Just enough cushion for comfort, but not too much to be unsupportive. Width was perfect. Comfortable right out of the box! I may have to add a thin insole though, as I could use just a little bit more arch support. These do have more arch support though than my Ghost 15's.

They fit my purpose

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a knock around shoe these are very comfortable. For longer (2+ miles) walks, they are a little too spongy for me. The fit is spot on. I would order again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the best shoes I have tried, although a bit on the heavy side. I still get great long runs in these shoes.

New Brooks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the way these hug my feet. The extra support for my arches is great for comfort. The are holding up in shape and form. This time I chose the standard width because it’s seems like Brooks wide widths are a bit more than the other brands I have used.
