Too wide, rock hard, not made for human feet

This is maybe the most uncomfortable sandal I've ever worn. First of all I'm pretty sure it's made for a Yeti, it was so wide that my foot was rolling all over the place, and even on the tightest setting it wasn't snug enough to stay on while walking. The arch was so overly high and so hard, walking in it for even an hour was agony. By the end of my first few days trying to wear it and break it in, my three middle toes had gone numb and my left foot was having muscle spasms. I returned it for a pair of reefs which fit perfectly on day one and I love them.

This was a gift for my Husband. I had sent back the first pair as they were too short. I will be sending back this pair as they are too narrow. Sad because I love my Birks!
