So pretty!!
I don’t agree with any of Shoelover’s review on these shoes. I’m not sure that person understands Birkenstocks. That being said, these are beautiful shoes, and comforting to my feet when I feel like I need a firm shoe. I wear a lot of Brooks all the time too, and I think my feet get tired of walking around on cushion. I switch to these for a while and the firm footbed relaxes my foot and relieves pressure points that I develop from my cushy Brooks athletic shoes. These sandals are well made, not at all like the other reviewer described. The foot bed is soft suede, not grainy. I like the look of the thinner strap because the wider straps don’t look as cute on me. To each their own! The wider straps look adorable on my sister, so that’s an example of why I would encourage you to try different Birks on, and try to wear them around a store for about ten minutes. If the sole of your foot feels great like mine did after ten minutes, buy them, and the straps will become more flexible with time and they’ll be just great for you! Again, please try on different styles, different strap patterns, and be aware that there are different widths! Adjust the buckles to fit your foot. This makes a big difference in how the shoes perform on you. Also, try sizing down or a thinner width if you feel they’re just too loose. Following the sizing instructions, I am a 39, but I love the way the 38 feels a lot more. So like I said, to each their own. Find what works for you, and don’t expect Birks to be something they’re not. They’re meant to be firm. Try Clarks if you want a cushy sandal. Hope you can use these tips and be happy with your purchase.

Cute and comfy!
I absolutely did not need another pair of Birks, but wanted this style for the last year plus. When I saw the color in person, I got them. My usual size in Birkenstocks fit me (smaller than my regular shoe size) and the color is much cuter in person.

Comfortable when the right size
Birkenstock shoes are very over sized. I had to drop one full size for them to fit me feet better. It would be better to try a pair on at a store before ordering online. Once you get the right size, these are incredibly comfortable and you will want to wear them all the time. The lavendar color is very pretty.

Disappointed On These Birkenstock Sandals

Ugly and Uncomfortable
This brand is so hyped. This pair is not very useful in comfort and looks. Feels like wearing sandy grain material in feet. The base is thick and heavy, and the straps on top with buckle are thin and flimsy to support its weight. It feels like it’s going to snap anytime. The extended strap looks so ugly . Overall a very ugly pair in style and comfort. Traction is good in sole, this however is not unique for this brand . Lavender color with sheen is good but comfort comes first in shoes. Very dissatisfied with this purchase. Will keep it just to see how long it lasts after daily wear . Bought it to wear at home.

Cute, comfy but not leather
Really cute and comfy BUT....the description says the uppers are leather but they are not. The shoe tag says " other materials ( non leather) " which is probably what Birkenstock calls " Birki buc" which is synthetic with a felt lining. I'm keeping them because they were on sale and very comfy but I will be extra cautious with DSW if I decide to make another purchase with them.

Comfy
This is my first pair of Birkenstock shoes! I’ve talked myself out of them for years. I’m glad my inner hippy won out this time. I love I can adjust to better fit my narrow feet.

Birkenstock Franca Sandal Graceful Orchid
These sandals are the prettiest Birkenstock sandals that I have seen so far. They are lavender and the buckles are a shiny iridescent color of blue and pinkish purple. I am very happy with my purchase.
