Overall, I love Birkenstock shoes, but I was extremely disappointed with DSW’s shipping and quality control. The shoes were shipped in the original Birkenstock box without any protective packaging, so the box arrived torn and damaged. Since these were intended as a gift, that alone was frustrating. Even worse, the shoes I received were clearly used and had visible signs of wear. I will absolutely be returning them and have instead ordered a new pair directly from Birkenstock. DSW needs to do better when it comes to packaging and ensuring customers receive new, unworn merchandise.

Break Easily At Rhe Cork In The Heel
Do not buy these if you want to spend way too much on a shoe that according to the company you can't get wet the cork will break in the heel! I had mine under a year and they broke! The company gave many pointers on what not to do! Waste of money! I only wore them to work! I'm on my feet all day. They do not stand behind their products!

Cork Disintegrated
I bought a pair, worn them nine times and the cork disintegrated. They replaced them, wore the replacement pair three days and the cork disintegrated. Asked and received a refund. I loved them but they have a serious flaw.

Arch Support + Up In Size
ARCH SUPPORT! highly recommend for comfort. Also recommend going up in size, I wear 40 in Birkenstock sandal, had to go with 41 in sneakers

Stiff At First. But Great While Wearing.
When I put these on I wasn’t sure how comfortable they would be to wear all day because they feel stiff. But to my surprise they are super comfortable even without being broken in. True to size.

Great Kicks For Birkenstock Lovers
These were a gift for my 35 year old daughter and she loves them—she actually tried them on before I purchased them to make sure they fit. I bought them in white (her request). I now notice many people wearing them in various colors—am tempted to try them myself! I need arch support and the wider toe box!

Wanted To Love
These sneakers are well made as you’d expect from Birkenstock, they are wide and I actually needed to go down a size from the sandals I have and love. Don’t expect to have cushioned sole like a regular sneaker. They are comfortable, but I didn’t love them for the price.

Break Them In
I love a Birkenstocks sandal so I purchased these. They are a little stiff but after wearing them a few times my feet seem to like them a bit better. Very good support and very well made.

Excellent Shoe
I have a slightly wide foot and has been hard to find this style of shoe that either comes in a wide and provides arch support for plantar fasciitis. A friend just bought these and I had no idea Birka came in sneakers. So I tried on at store. Shockingly, I normally have to size down in a Birk sandal (even with a slightly wide foot), but these I figures as closed in, I would need regular size. These even are marked as narrow/regular but they fit with room for my toes!!!!! I wear a thin sock and can move all my toes around with no rubbing on pinky toe joints! There’s a tech support like a birk sandal footbed. The lack of cushion in the heel isn’t an issue as the footbed is so contoured! Best purchase!

Love these! So happy Birkenstock makes a gym shoe. These are so cute and go with so many outfits. I love them so much I purchased them in white as well. They have the traditional Birkenstock foot bed and the toe box is nice and roomy.

White Sneakers
My white Birkenstock sneakers are nice on the arch but they do not give me support on my toes I normally wear Birkenstocks sandals and they are very comfortable and they have a rim so your toe doesn’t go forward and these shoes do not have that I was a little disappointed but I wore them already I think it’s too late to send them back but they look cute they go with everything..

DSW Disappointment
I previously had this sneaker and loved it. I decided I wanted a new pair in a bigger size. I was sent a worn pair that was dirty from the DSW return center. I contacted customer service and they told me to return the pair and would be receiving a new pair. I just received the second pair, again from the return Center, worn and dirty. These are expensive sneakers and this is extremely disappointing from DSW. Customer service this time could not guarantee I would receive a new pair so suggested I return for a refund. If you cannot provide new and unworn sneakers, they should be marked out of stock.
