Living in Florida I did not think I would really use these BUT I had to get them anyways. I am very happy I did because I love them. They are super warm, comfortable, just what I expect out of Birks. Hopefully the shearling does not rip off, as mentioned in other reviews.

I love these sandals.. they are warm enough to wear in cooler weather with or without socks.. they are also my choice for traveling.. they keep my feet comfortable on the plane, warm but not too hot.. 😍

I bought a bigger size since I noticed that I prefer more room in the back where my heel ends. Also it makes it better when wanting to wear socks with these. The sandal is comfortable. I do believe that the shearling adds cushion BUT I do not know how it will hold up with time. I appreciate that these have not bled and the black hasn’t rubbed off on my foot. They are pricey and I would have not paid full price honestly.
