As a long time Birdies customer, these shoes are even better than I expected and my expectations were high. They are luxurious and comfortable.

I've been buying these for years and they keep getting better. I love the insole and the soft velvet. I wear them everyday inside the house, but if I have to pop outside, it is an easy transition.

Haven’t been able to find a flat so comfortable. These are the only formal shoes I can wear to school.

I wanted a comfy walking shoe that wasn’t an athletic shoe, something dressier for city walking. I read about Birdies online, and thought I would give them a try. They are so cushy it’s like wearing a pair of slippers. Starling is a great style because it works with so many things.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable, with excellent cushioning and arch support. However, as a wedding photographer who spends 8+ hours on my feet and is constantly moving, I found that the back counter detail of the shoe is made from a rough material that rubbed the back of my upper heel completely raw. If that area were softer or better padded, these would be nearly perfect for long workdays.

The shade of gold on these is unlike any other gold shoe I’ve owned. It’s dark and rich and simply beautiful.
