The shoe accommodates a foot that is wide at the toe, but it is not a very attractive sandal. The top part of the shoe has a "collar that sticks out away from the foot. Perhaps the assumption is that those needing wide sizes have swollen feet???? Odd looking. Also note: If you buy shoes from this retailer that you later have to return, your refund will be delayed.
