Reliable brand
Bought these as a replacement pair for my husband -- his usual brand/style -- who runs regularly. He likes the Asics though they often develop a hole in the toe. Hopefully these will hold up ok.

Excellent for the treadmill!
These running shoes are excellent! I got them for my husband after he kept injuring his calves jogging with his old workout sneakers. These are very light and comfortable and help him maintain a proper gait on the treadmill.

Comfy Shoe for Working Out

Much improved over previous models
I had the Asics GT1000 11 and 12. I thought that both were okay. Asics redesigned the shoe with the 13 and has improved it dramatically. It is one of the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn. It is light and has a very soft sole.

Asics GT-1000
I buy the GT-1000's regularly, usually from Asics directly, as my every day wearing sneaker. I have flat arches, and these provide stability and comfort. This color was on clearance for a good price, and with rewards, it was a no-brainer purchase.

Comfortable!
Have not worn ASICS in years. They were my go to running shoe, eventually my feet changed and ASICS were too narrow. This shoe is a great surprise. It’s comfortable and provides stability as gym time replaces run time.

Used to be one of my favorite basic ASICS running shoe…current models no longer have the visible gel bubble in back which I liked a lot. These are fine-just don’t feel that they have been really upgraded for the better with newer model tweaks.
