Solid shoe at a great price!

I purchased this ASICS GEL-Venture 10 recently because I purchased this same shoe in another color a couple of months ago and really liked it. Fits well. Very comfortable, and runs true to size in my opinion. It's also a great looking shoe. Price was outstanding.

Horrible!!!! Asics has drastically cut corners on the construction for this version. It's a buttface UGLY looking shoe, too. This Amazon reviewer is spot on...
"These are supposed to be Trail Shoes. These are too flimsy and cheap to hold up on the trail. Yes they are lightweight and wide but they buckle on the sides due to being cheap foam. They have no strength to them. The traction is poor and I slipped up and down hills. They are so flimsy they want to twist and fold where they shouldn't. They have the girth of house slippers. They are so foamy they are hard to walk in up or down any decline or ascent. If I could rate these a zero I would."

Sole is thick, almost like a hiking shoe, so it’s also a bit stiff. Still breaking them in. Lightweight though!
