Good Support

Lightweight and breathable for my wide feet
I'm pleasantly surprised by how wide these run. For reference my feet are nearly 4in wide (3.75" or 9.5cm to be precise) and there's still extra room to account for swelling. Most shoe brands would require I get an extra wide or even extra extra wide. So if you're worried about it being too narrow for your wide feet, don't be. The shoe is lightweight and breathable. So far I really like it.

Love These Gel-Contend 9 Asics!
I just bought a pair of these and they are SO comfortable that I have immediately turned around nd just ordered a second pair! They definitely live up to all the outstanding reviews they've gotten. I am surprised however that people are saying they are true to size because my regular size in any other shoe or tennis shoe did not work for these Asics. I had to get one whole size larger to fit! But that said, I highly recommend these. They are like walking on a cloud -- great for running, walking long distances, doing errands. SUPER comfortable!

Comfortable and even recommended by podiatrist
Asics was one of the brands of shoes that I was recommended by a podiatrist for everyday wear. I used to wear booties every day and I could walk 100,000 a day in them. And one new pair ruined my feet. Now I am recovering wearing Asics. They are indeed comfortable and protect your foot from bending (only the toe part bends). They are soft and cushiony and allow room for high arches. The mesh provides breathability and on windy days I can actually feel the wind. They even look good, but I hope I will be able to go back to my favorite booties one day.

Very Comfortable Shoe
These shoes are great. I have a hard time finding tennis shoes that actually feel comfortable. These I barely notice when they’re on my feet. Definitely recommend for all day support.
