Low quality, again and again..

I bought these hoping they'd be a decent replacement for a pair of Marc Fisher booties which somehow failed to withstand three months of wear despite care and caution. I don't know what's going on with these manufacturers but there always seems to be inconsistent stitching, visible glue, and random schmutz on them when they arrive. That aside, the materials also look and feel very poorly made, which means I can only pull them off by assuring the judgmental fashionistas I'm merely a joker attempting a very budget Austin Powers costume. Regarding sizing, I have a short but wide foot with high arches and I'm typically an 8, with the width requirements varying between brands—booties are even more confusing. The previous pair I purchased (Marc Fisher) I required an 8.5 medium width, and in this style by Aerosoles I'm a 7.5 wide. Due to the material allowing stretch, they won't require a break in period and are already comfortable. Considering what I paid, it's a shame they're unlikely to last long.
