adidas TERREX Anylander Hiking Shoe - Men's

These shoes are excellent for walking long distances or for work - it feels like I’m walking on clouds. They lace up well to keep the shoe sturdy and comfortable. They look brand new, even after shoveling snow and throwing salt, and walking with them up and down many flights of stairs they look and feel fantastic. I don’t use them everyday but the consistency in feel and look makes this purchase completely worth it.

I would definitely recommend these Terrex hiking shoes. They fit well, are very lightweight and easy to walk/hike in.

I like how durable they seem to be. I think they’d be good in bad weather

I use them everyday when I go out walking my dog so it's all around a good hiking shoe and I don't know how else to make 10,000 on this minimum characters.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2026-04-09. Terrex Anylander Hiking Shoes. Black. Fit: Shoes are pretty much true to size, so order the size you normally wear. Since all shoe brands differ, measure your foot from toe to heel and use 10" = Size 8 as a reference. Then every 1/5-inch is ½ a size (e.g. 10.8" = size 10.) My notable here is really with the width. I ordered the regular and they're pretty wide which I'm not a fan of as you will need to lace them up tight to prevent that lateral movement, and lacing them up tight makes the laces look awkward. These shoes where much lighter than expected. More of a running shoe than a hiking shoe. The mesh upper is highly breathable, but that also means that it's not water resistant, so avoid puddles if you don't want to get wet. The tongue is also not gusseted, so will tend to slide down the sides if you don't have them laced up tight. If you're looking for a gusseted tongue, go for the RAIN.RDY model (in hindsight, I should have ordered it instead of this one at $10 more.) The midsole does have some extra cushioning for comfort and support. The outsole is a medium-soft rubber and provides excellent traction without being too rigid making it a decent trail runner rather than an uneven terrain hiker. Overall, I'm a little disappointed to be honest. I was really looking to replace my Terrex hikers, and feel that this one is nothing close to what I had in mind. Took another look at their product line and now I'm thinking what I probably expected something closer to the Skychaser.

Price is nice, but leather would make these shoes so much better.
