I have worn these 2x and they are comfy. They didn't need breaking in at all. They are true to size so I wouldn't size up since they will stretch with wear.

My Around The House Flats

I can walk 10,000 steps in these sandals!!
These are the most amazing sandals EVER! I have repurchased this exact sandal in "light brown leather" 3 times and would continue to do so since I wear them almost everyday. I can walk 10,000 steps in these with no issues even though I have problem feet! I think why this is so comfy is due to the padded sole and soft upper. My size in sandals ranges from 6-6.5 and I purchased these in 6.5. Please never stop making this because I need to be able to repurchase them for the rest of time. With wearing them a few times a week in all sorts of environments, these sandals last me a little over a year before needing to be replaced. The only thing is I wish they came in more colors!

Comfortable
These shoes are perfect for every day! Nice thick soft sole, and the upper is soft with no seams to rub your feet. Can’t wait for warmer days to be able to wear them more!

Poor quality
Bought during the summer, first pair fell about in 2 weeks. Got a replacement pair and after the end of the summer they were in bad shape. Nearly 3 months and they are trashed. Did not get them wet and took care of them, just wore out quickly.

Wear these daily
Third time buying these! I wear these daily. I find them to fit well and be comfortable. The leather part does get “wrinkled” quickly and if you trip while walking, it easily scuffs the toes. I always wait until I have a coupon or two to buy them as I’m not sure they’re worth $50.

Versatile and comfortable
Love these shoes! They go with so many outfits and they are super comfortable. Some flat shoes make my arches hurt if I walk in them too long. Took these on vacation and did a lot of walking with absolutely no pain.

Always a Nice Sandal
I recently purchased the cognac color in these Steve Madden slides. I did notice that this color varied slightly from a darker tan to a more Orangey color. I wanted a darker one and got lucky that my closet DSW location had what I wanted. I currently own six pairs of this style of sandal in various colors. I wear them with everything throughout the warmer weather months. They are comfortable, easy to slip on and for me, have held up well over the three years I've been purchasing the different colors/pairs. I always look forward to what colors come out for the spring/summer season. As long as the quality is there, I will continue to purchase this style. I fluctuate, depending on style/brand of shoe, from a size 6.5 to 7 med...and the 7's never disappoint in this style.
