Improved over the old model
The Bushacre 3 is a good improvement over the Buchacre 2. I wore my 2s for a very long time, but the sole finally gave out- however after trying the 3s I was sad I didn't upgrade earlier. The biggest improvement is the insole which actually provides support and comfort. I also appreciate the sole has some grip to it compared to the old smooth sole. These new ones do seem softer, but hopefully they'll hold up just the same. Sidenote, sizing stayed the same as from before (I run 1 size smaller than runners).

Good looking, but runs big
This shoe looks really good when wearing jeans, but when I walk in them, I get that flip flop sensation on my heel (if that makes any sense). I’m not sure why that is. I usually wear men’s 11, but when I tried on the 11, they felt really big and I got the flip flop sensation quite badly. I tried 10.5 and the flip flop sensation is not nearly as bad. Only reason I didn’t try 10 is because I feel like it will be too tight of a fit.

Overall Good Boot
The foot bed is comfortable and the upper feels durable. Will take a little breaking in. The leather is a little like a beeswax finish so it has a more casual look. Good with chinos or jeans.

Another Solid Bushacre Offering
I bought these to replace my Bushacre 2s which I accidentally shrank. Compared to my old pair:
-The last seems wider but has a good bit less clearance above the toes; I went up a half size and I'm glad I did. Not crazy about how wide they look in comparison, but I'll get used to it.
-These actually have support underfoot, which accounts for the lack of space; it took about two days to break them in and now they fit like a glove.
-The color is quite a bit darker; they weren't kidding about the 'coffee' moniker. It's like full-strength black espresso color. They'll still work with my wardrobe (actually more of it than my last pair), but I wasn't quite prepared. If I could have a do-over, I'd get the 'dark brown' colorway instead.
Overall, I do think these are an upgrade over the Bushacre 2, and I still recommend these super versatile shoes to anyone.

Not designed well
I bought these for my husband as an xmas gift. He asked me to return them because they're made with a piece of leather, sewn on the inside over the achilles portion of the foot and the heel bone. This results in a ridge that rubs the back of the leg & foot. He said it was very uncomfortable.

Nice Boot But…
Color is much darker than the picture makes the seem. They run a little large so might want to go down a size or at least half depending on fit you like.
