Work Boot Upgrade

I purchased these boots to replace a pair of Wolverine Floorhand WP boots. The Carlsbad Waterproof Steel Toe Work Boot was the right choice. In addition to the steel toe, the upper portion and the sole were designed for a better fit and feel.

Warning NOT Slip Resistant

My husband needed a pair of slip resistant shoes for work. So we took the gift card his mother gave him to the store and searched a for a pair. It was hard going because the store doesn't really have a section for slip resistant work shoes, so being the resourceful sorts that we are we got out our phones and went on the DSW web site. This seemed super easy because they have a section on the web site for work shoes and you can search for slip resistant ones specifically. So we started looking at the boots listed as slip resistant and even check the descriptions and these boots say they are in the description provided by DSW. My husband wore them to work and slipped because they aren't slip resistant. A quick look at the brands actual website confirms that and since he wore them we are stuck with them. So always check the brands web site before buying I guess.
