Not quite sure

The suppport on these shoes is great as usual, however, they were not as comfortable as the old Caroll Ballet flat. The original was the first Vionic shoe I purchased and I bought a new black pair every year along with a few other colors in between. I was able to wear those all day on the first day with no "break-in" period. I have worn the 2.0 twice only for a short time and they still feel stiff and a bit uncomfortable. Hopefully that will change soon.

I love everything about these flats! I wear a 9.5, and it can be hard to pull off most square toes as I find it to be a unflattering, but these have the prettiest soft square shape! The elastic edge detailing is super cute as well. The arch support is amazing as per usual with Vionic shoes, and the outsole has a nice grip. These will be a great addition to my work wardrobe.

I love the style and comfort. I originally purchased an 8 but I had to return for a 7 1/2.
These shoes are so comfortable and I love the arch support.

Suede band cuts into your foot

I'm not sure why reviewers are saying the shoe is soft. The leather is, but the edging that surrounds it is very rough and caused blisters. Also, the heel cut into my achilles, which isn't a problem with the other vionic flats i ordered, which were comfortable right out of the box. it seems like these were made on completely different lasts.
