HARD as A Rock & Small

It felt like I was walking with a concrete block on my foot. The entire base, around my ankle, and the toe box are SO HARD. I couldn't bend the toe at all (photo with heel off ground, I'm trying to bend it lol). I'm normally a size 8, I would have to go up to a size 9 for these to maybe fit comfortably. The calf is narrow too & I don't have wide calf's. I can barely bend the boot enough for my foot to even get into it. Absolutely will be returning.

Rugged & Stylish Leather Riding Boots

I purchased these a couple of weeks ago & love the rich, DARK BROWN color. I purchased them to replace an older pair of riding boots. I wasn't sure whether I needed to size up or down b/c there wasn't any reviews posted on DSW at the time. So I went to Vintage Foundry Co website to see how others reviewed them. I ended up, happily, with my normal size 9. I have full calves, and was able to zip the boots all the way up, while wearing knit pants. They are a little stiff for now, but I'm sure that they will loosen over time like most real leather does. My only complaint is that I wish they were better lined inside.

Cute and Comfortable.

Vintage Foundry makes nice leather boots. I ordered the dark brown. This particular style is very comfortable and really cute. I would definitely recommend this particular one. I have found each style of this brand of boot fits differently. Some are very stiff/no give. Some are tight in the toe area. But this particular style feels good. Size up 1/2 size so you can wear socks and still feel comfortable.
