Great shoes... except the finish

These are really good looking and comfortable shoes. HOWEVER, the finish on the leather is VERY easy to scuff, and they look bad pretty quickly. The color is great, but finding a polish that will cover the scuffs without darkening the color is really hard. I liked these shoes a lot when they were new, but I only wore them around 3 times before they started looking very worn. I did polish them to look good again, but now they're a darker brown. Sometimes it's not even scuffing them, but the color gets worn out just in the creases where the shoe bends. I'm disappointed, but do like the shoes very much otherwise.
