Expensive boot will arrive like damaged goods

The boots are really cute boots. The problem is the way that these are packaged and sent. I have ready started a return of this item but am posting this as a precaution in case DSW tries to deny my refund. The packaging is absolutely unacceptable for such an expensive items. The boots were thrown in a box with no inserts or anything to hold their shape. Let me also add that rather than package this in a box, DSW sent these boots in a bag with zero padding. It is no surprise then that the shoe box came damaged and the boots looked a lot less smooth than they appear in the product images, indicating some minor wear already. The zipper is also not an easy glide. This is too expensive of a product to allow this kind of product and service quality. This is crazy, as all my other orders from brands sold by DSW have been nothing short of wonderful.

I’m disappointed in the quality of these boots. The leather is not nearly as nice as it looks online & half of one boot looks like it has something on it & appears worn while the other side doesn’t.

Great Boots, Terrible Delivery and Service

This review is about DSW’s quality assurance and not the boots themselves. The boots are great! However, the first time I ordered them, I was sent clearly used boots that had white paint on them. I called for an exchange and was sent a completely different size and completely different boot all together (an ugly combat boot). At this point, the boots sold out since they were so popular. When I saw my size come back in stock, I finally decided to give it one more shot. Just to get damaged shoes AGAIN. They were literally sent to me from the Returns Department… Not sure if the quality issue is on the DSW side or the Vince Camuto side, but this is unacceptable for how much the boots cost. And clearly I am not the only one who had this happen as there are other reviews of those who experienced the same thing. When I reached out to express my disappointment again, I was offered a $20 gift card… when the boots are sold out and I had wasted time going back and forth to return damaged and incorrect products.

Got a Used Pair

DSW is sending used boots out. Not only was the box my boots came in very damaged, but there was no shaping material, nothing to keep the boots secure in the box, there was visible wear on the soles and leather and the shoes were just dirty in general from being worn previously. I would probably skip these, or if you really want to try them, order from a different store that doesn't send out used returns.

Misleading product

I just bought these and they are obviously used. They came with no packaging material and the leather on one boot appears worn. I have not even tried them on yet as I paid full price for a new pair and expected to receive that.
