I bought these looking for the hard to find color of gray and they seem to fit the bill. I should have tried these on in person however they were not available at my DSW location so I had to order them online. While they appeared to be a good quality color, it was my mistake to purchase these without trying them on. Your mileage may vary if you are able to try these on in person as they did not fit exactly as desired, and the soul of the shoe was not as grippy, and seemed to slip as I tried them on at home.
No, I do not recommend this product.

These run true to size. For the price they're very good, and will last a while with good care. If you have a bit more money I would go for the Vintage Foundry Co - Evans Chelsea boots but if not these are still great.

Didn't last a year, not great quality

These are my fourth pair of black suede Chelsea boots. The first pair I bought (not from DSW) had real wooden soles that were stitched to the rest of the shoe. They last four years. I wore them every day. I got a second pair that were different, which only lasted three months. I bought these kind from DSW and the stitching is decorative and doesn't goe through the sole. They lasted longer but only made it 6 months. When I bought them, I paid close to $100. Not what I was expecting. Wish shoes were better quality. I have money but not time to waste on crappy shoes. I'd be happy to pay more for something I don't have to replace twice a year. These are boots. It shouldn't be that hard to make them durable.
