Look nice but not a long-term shoe
I have had these shoes for a few months and the leather hatching detail is already torn and looks shabby.

Decline in quality
Disappointed in Trotters. I bought the same style 5 years ago and they were my favorite shoes - I wore them 3-4 times per week, walking 2-4 miles per day on pavement. They finally started to wear out and I decided to replace them. The new pair are significantly worse quality. I have only had them for 2 months and the top portion is peeling and cracked to the point of being unwearable. It does not seem to be real leather anymore.

Uncomfortable
I bought these shoes based on the reviews that they are comfortable. Not so for me. I wore them to work and they were fine for a couple of hours. Then my right heel started to become sore from the shoe rubbing. By the end of the day, I had a painful sore despite my putting a bandage over the area of discomfort. I drove home barefoot because I couldn’t take it anymore. So now I’m stuck with them and I’ll never wear them again.

Not Navy Blue
I looked a long time for a real leather, navy blue loafer, so I was happy to find these. BUT, they looked black. Even next to my black pants, they looked black. I am very disappointed. I returned them.

Rich color and smooth fit
I bought the golden-brown color and was pleasantly surprised by how rich the shoes look on my feet. They are quite comfortable and easy to slip into. I will be taking them on my cruise in November. Trotters tend to be slim fit, so I bought the wide size, and the fit is very nice.

Pretty shoe but narrow
Pretty shoe but runs narrow. Much better after stretching. Good investment if don't mind investing the time to stretch.

Sharp looking shoes
I like the quality. They are very good looking, however, though my feet are medium, they are a bit tight. Otherwise, they are comfortable.

I bought one pair several months ago. I dearly loved them and received many compliments. I just bought another pair in a different color and really enjoy this pair as well. I highly recommend them. For me the fit is very accurate.

They are a beautiful looking shoe and it seemed they would be comfortable but they ran very large. I normally wear a 7/12 M and these shoes just slipped off of my feet when I walked. Unfortunately they did not have these shoes in the store to try on a different size so I sent them back.

Not For Me
Initially I loved the look and feel of these loafers, particularly the white/silver. They come in so many colors and patterns…I thought I’d found my new go-to shoes. After trying them on at home, I quickly realized the toe area runs narrow and it felt uncomfortable within minutes. Unfortunately I had to return.

Comfort and style

Very comfortable and stylish shoe

Nice loafers
These loafers are beautiful, well made & I'm sure very comfortable. I have to exchange them as they run very small. The store doesn't carry wide shoes so another 2 week wait to get them I usually wear 7 1-2 wide but these are very small.

Nice quality. Nice arch support!
Love these shoes! Nice quality. The foot bed is padded and comfortable. There is also nice arch support. They however run small. I am a consistent 10 Med and these are tight on my foot. Unfortunately there is not a 10.5 medium in this color so I may get a different color. I ordered the cognac. A great color to go with everything.
