These look really nice in the images, but were pretty plain in actuality. The leather was thin and didn't look particularly lustrous or textured. I've purchased Trotters before, so I know their products. The insole is essentially flat, and the fit was weird: the sides bulged out oddly when standing, and walking was not uncomfortable per se, but I did feel I wanted to return them after giving it some time around the house. I bought the wide size, which I usually do, so I don't know if that made the difference with this pair.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Attractive, comfortable dress flat

Clearly a dress shoe that is appropriate for a business environment. I bought a very similar pair that is intended to be more casual and was worried that these shoes would be identical. However, they are not. The shape of the toe and heel communicates that these shoes can be matched up with skirts and dresses. One suggestion, though, the heel could be slightly higher.
