Awful! Way too short, way to narrow

Got as a gift. No gift receipt so I can't return/exchange them. Tom's official site won't let me post a review there. These. Are. AWFUL. I was sent a 1/2 size up, as I always wear, but I could barely get my foot into these. These run WAAAY too small, not just in length, but in width, too. It feels like putting my feet in a vice. My feet are NOT wide. As someone who values QUALITY shoes, shoes that are good to your feet & won't mess up your ankles, knees, back, etc, I really have no idea why I was sent these as a gift. They're nothing I'd ever wear BECAUSE I VALUE MY FEET & BODY, as an athlete. Now I'm stuck having to try to sell them to get a few bucks so I can buy something for myself that I will actually use.
