Teva Rowena Boot

I feel for the feet sufferers, so I must tell the truth. I used to run and I am a heavy commuter who walks a lot and have wide feet, so you know I must have nice comfortable shoes that last long enough. Some days, I walk for more than 3 hours. I often choose to walk to do errands. I give this boots two stars, because it looks well made. But this boot is not worth it's price. For one, I am very shocked at the front construction of the boots. This is Teva??? How? It just looks like it could be by any other brand. Not unique like the Teva brand I know and like. 1) How is it that this boots by Teva is so pointed at the toes, when all Teva sandals are so nicely widened and softly rounded at the edge to promote freely moving toes? This type of boots, I call it the bunion promotor. I do not wear boots with the front shaped like this anymore, because I came to my senses about what my feet has been hollering for. Noone's feet is shaped like this. Which is why so many people are switching to barefoot shoes. Wide feet? Had bunion surgery before? Wide feet and suffer from bunions? Then stay far away from these and any shoes that looks like this at the front. You'll thank the good LORD later. Matter of fact, go ahead thank Him in advance for this insight. Nonetheless, if you have very thin feet that comes together pointed at the front, then maybe this boot is for you. But I have yet to see anyone born with feet shaped like this boot. Since I began wearing barefoot shoes, my feet wants nothing else. But I still like the Teva sandals, and just purchased a black Teva sandals universal platform, because my toes are free and it's nice and wide and I can make it more wide if needed due to adjustable straps. But these boots are shamefully a no for me and anyone with beautiful wide and square feet that would like to keep them that way and also remain bunion free. 2) Finally, such an expensive leather boot with synthetic lining? Not worth the price because, this boots won't last. Trust me, I know; I've suffered two beautiful leather boots with synthetic lining. They were tall riding boots, so a lot of wasted leather. If you're going to kill the animal for their leather, be respectful and make a beautiful all leather piece and don't mix it with synthetic crap. So annoying when companies do this by taking the cheap way out and still hike the price. The labor was already hard I am sure, spend the extra to make a leather boots that's leather inside and out and lined with real wool or cashmere. Then you can make it even more expensive, because we know it'll last. The LORD said we perish for lack of knowledge. Hosea 4:6
