This is my first pair

This is my first pair of Taft boots and they are absolutely amazing. Got lots of compliments the first time I worn them out. I usually wear a size 9 so I ordered the 8. 5 as recommended and they fit great.

I've had my eye on these for a while. When I saw my size I knew I had to jump on it immediately.
I got over 15 compliments and inquiries the first day I wore them! I love the color, style, design and fit. This is my third pair of Taft footwear. I love my new boots!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A gorgeous boot, but a hair narrow for my feet, but a boot stretcher solved the issue.

19th Pair of TAFT… No Regrets 😅
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ep, this is my 19th pair of TAFT boots—don’t judge me. They just keep making quality boots that look different in the best way, and the Jack in Brown Paisley is another winner.
The woven jacquard has a rich texture that looks even better in person, and the Spanish full-grain calfskin on the toe and heel area gives it a clean, polished finish. It’s bold, but still classy.
Fit was true for me (standard D width), and I really like the Shoe Dog rubber sole—more grip, less babying. Best part is how versatile they are: they look great with denim, but I’ve also worn them with business pants and they work.
If you want a statement boot that’s still easy to wear, TAFT nailed it again.

Statement Boots That Still Feel Premium
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 18th pair of TAFT boots, so yeah… I’m pretty picky at this point 😄 And the Jack in Eden Noir did not disappoint.
First off, the floral jacquard is even cooler in person. Pictures don’t really capture it—there’s texture to it, and it has that “wait, what boots are those?” vibe without looking flashy. The black leather toe cap and heel keep everything grounded and give it a clean, sharp finish. You can tell the materials are legit too—the Italian calfskin feels premium, and the stitching/finishing looks really dialed in.
The funniest part is how often people notice them. I’ve gotten compliments at random places—coffee runs, dinner, even just walking through a store. It’s not the kind of boot you have to “style hard”… you just put them on and they do the work.
Comfort-wise, they broke in pretty quickly for me, and I like that the leather sole has rubber inserts, so it doesn’t feel like you’re sliding around on every smooth surface. Also love that it’s Blake construction and resoleable, because I actually wear my TAFTs a lot and it’s nice knowing these can be kept going.
Only real “heads up” (and TAFT mentions this): since they’re leather-soled, I don’t wear them in the rain or on wet ground. Easy enough for me—these are my “look good” boots, not my bad-weather boots.
If you’re thinking about them and you like boots that stand out in a tasteful way, I’d 100% buy these again.

Sharp decline in quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my first round of Taft boots a few years ago and they have been nothing short of great. I recently bought this pair to replace another after a bad storm. The difference in build quality is crazy, this new pair has plastic/nylon where there was once leather and the overall construction of the boot feels so much cheaper.
