    I can't be sure why this show style did not blowup. This shoe carries presence in each step. The olive tone is great green. The rugged tread gives you style in a couple of inches of snow. The width gives great comfort in each wear

    I love my new boots. I'm always looking for boots I can wear year-round, but in New England everything is hiking boots, which aren't any fun. . . Along came these. And with a soft spot for tweed, I was sold. I though I'd need to "break them in," but they wear incredibly comfortable from the box. And they feel well-made, and while I'm at it, at least 10 people have pointed at my feet and said "wow what are those!"

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought them for my son who is friends with the original owner. He has several pair of Taft. I bought them for Christmas and he was shocked. I hit a home run. Don't ask me if I like the shoes because I'm almost 70 years old and I have been out of style for 25 years.
