Great boot but quality isn't...

I wore and loved these for 2 PNW winter seasons and then they started falling apart. I wore them multiple times a week in the rain and snow and just out and about and they held up well until they didn't. Like other reviews, the glue holding the bottom pieces together started to disintegrate and then they began leaking. I tried shoe glue/cement to fix them because I loved them so much but it wouldn't work with multiple attempts. Sorel is supposedly a quality company but I just bought a second pair this year in November (2 months ago) and I am already having the same problem! Pics are of each shoe. I won't be buying these books until there is a serious quality change. Bummer because I believe they are both fashionable and functional as well as comfortable.

This shoe is very comfortable and will be my go to this fall and winter for running errands. They’re not insulated so I went up a half a size to accommodate wool socks. They’re perfect

Versatile boot

I bought these for a versatile work shoe, because I often have to split time between meetings and the office and out in the field. This is pretty good at everything— it’s not a hiking boot, not a rain boot, not a work boot, not a fancy boot, but manages to do well enough at all of them! Love that the sole isn’t white— I tried another gray pair that had a white sole and it didn’t make any sense! These haven’t gotten noticeably dirty.

Painful and heavy

I’ve had Soral rain boots in the past, but so far after wearing these two times (several miles each time), I just can’t get past the pain. Sizing wise they fit perfectly, enough room in toe box and length, but something in the left boot rubs so badly that I am left limping after wearing these (thus only two uses.) I will try a pair of thicker socks and see if that helps. Honestly it’s a little weird, I’ve never had an issue like this before where one shoe was causing so much pain. I did purchase these for a trip where I’ll be in heavy rain (based on other reviews doesn’t seem like they are super waterproof) and walking a ton so at least I know now these aren’t worth the weight in my luggage.
