Sizing is off. They are way smaller than what they're supposed to be, super uncomfortable. Besides my toes being extremely crammed, these boots are just generally not comfortable, not supportive, not warm which should be a key factor in a winter boot, and they are absolutely not waterproof. Failure all around. I am going to give them away (not that anyone would want them) because I unfortunately forgot to return them on time.

Great boot but quality isn't...
I wore and loved these for 2 PNW winter seasons and then they started falling apart. I wore them multiple times a week in the rain and snow and just out and about and they held up well until they didn't. Like other reviews, the glue holding the bottom pieces together started to disintegrate and then they began leaking. I tried shoe glue/cement to fix them because I loved them so much but it wouldn't work with multiple attempts. Sorel is supposedly a quality company but I just bought a second pair this year in November (2 months ago) and I am already having the same problem! Pics are of each shoe. I won't be buying these books until there is a serious quality change. Bummer because I believe they are both fashionable and functional as well as comfortable.

Versatile boot
I bought these for a versatile work shoe, because I often have to split time between meetings and the office and out in the field. This is pretty good at everything— it’s not a hiking boot, not a rain boot, not a work boot, not a fancy boot, but manages to do well enough at all of them! Love that the sole isn’t white— I tried another gray pair that had a white sole and it didn’t make any sense! These haven’t gotten noticeably dirty.

Good Shoes For Wet Yucky Weather
So far they have been great in the rain. Needed a little wearing-in as they were a bit stiff at first but after wearing for a whole day and several miles they are more comfortable. The color is very versatile, goes with everything. I mostly wear an 8.5 and that’s exactly what fit. I like that the shoelaces stay in place when tied. The toebox has enough room, not narrow like many other Sorels. They are warm enough in 40 to 50 degree weather.

Great for winter hiking
I needed a winter boot to keep me both warm and dry for the White Mountains in New Hampshire. There was about a foot of snow the entire trial but these held up better than I expected. I was able to fit my spikes over my boots. I wore extra thick socks for warmth so i order a half size up from my normal size and I was very comfortable hiking a mountain for 8 miles in the ice and snow. I can’t wait to use these for more adventures.

Cute and waterproof but..
I got these since I needed waterproof shoes for walking my dog. Fits true to size with extra height in the platform. They have excellent traction and I don't mind trekking through puddles, snow, or wet grass knowing my feet will stay dry. The only downside is the soles are very hard and shoes are quite clunky. I tried to insert my own soles but then it was too roomy. Put them on top of existing inserts and they're too tight. I like to keep the laces wide so I can easily slide them on and off when my dog needs to go out. So far it works for function but wearing extra thick socks for some cushion. If you’re looking for comfort then look elsewhere.

LOVE THESE!
Love Love Love. I have been eyeing these most of the winter as a cute but functional shoe to wear in winter. They look great with leggings, are functional for walking, but also work with jeans. A perfect "mom" shoe.

These are great looking and comfortable
I love the look of these and they are very light. They run a tiny bit big but heavy socks work just fine. Wore them in the torrential rains and they are very waterproof.

Favorite new winter boots!
Very comfortable! My husband and I spent Valentine’s Day weekend in New York City when it was snowing. We walked all over the city and these saved my feet from the cold. Highly recommend!

Pretty Good
I had to size up a who size from my normal shoe size. Surprised for a lace up boot that they are not as comfortable on the instep for one like myself with high insteps. At first I didn’t care for how firm the sole was but I gave it a couple of days and the comfort is better. I do love them for the winter here in North Dakota and the in and out of buildings or work and they are stylish enough to wear at work but practical for the ins and outs.
