The styling of these with the flattened toe is so spot-on with the kind of look I like for professional flats - almost like Banana Republic's flats but with a much lower price tag -- and they're actually quite comfortable. Still currently out of budget for me, even discounted, but I'm picky and would have kept them as an investment if not for one flaw: they crease when walking. Even after trialing for just a few minutes in the house, they looked a little worse for the wear than fresh out of the box, and though it doesn't look terrible now, I'm worried that they'll start looking old fast. They are soft material so do also splay a little in the mid-foot (for me), which changes their shape a bit, but that may be because my feet tend to pronate heavily (and they may be wider than normal). Returning, but perhaps they will be just right for feet that don't flex as much when walking and are less wide than mine.
