Crazy Wrong Sizing

I got these in 12y for my grandson (his regular size). They were absolutely HUGE (like 3 sizes too big huge) so I exchanged for an 11. They were still HUGE. I exchanged for a 10 and, although he could technically wear them, they were still loose all around. I was so frustrated that I just gave them away. On top of that, the material on the entire shoe is very thin, I see no way that they could be comfortable even if they fit.
