Hiking Boots
Bought these for a hiking trip in the Scotland highlands. They are comfortable, sturdy, great grip on wet and muddy paths. Really good purchase.

Just a squeeze
This is not my first pair of Solomon and won’t be my last. Unfortunately these are not cut on the usual wide Solomon last but Was a squeeze Not only for my little toes but for the arch of my foot as well. So if your feet are normal to narrow then give these a try you’re going to love the traction you’re gonna love the look and you’re gonna love the comfort

Comfortable and lightweight
I love how lightweight and comfortable these are, I typically wear a 7 in shoes but sometimes a 7.5. I went with the 7.5 to leave room for thicker socks and when going downhill to save my toes.

All sorts of YES!
I was super excited to see that DSW carried Salomon hiking boots! They are unbelievably lightweight and needed no “breaking in”. I hiked 6 miles the first day I wore them and had no issues. My husband, an avid hiker, has the men’s version and has been just as satisfied with his pair. I highly recommend!

Lacing Issues
Fit is good, true to size. But not enough hooks, needs one more to snug the fit at the ankle. Tongue is extra padded and hard to snug down without leaving a large gap. I’ve had to resort to specialized lacing techniques which necessitate longer laces, as these are barely adequate, even for my narrow foot.

Great hiking boot!
Wore out my last boots, so tried the lighter version. I love this version of the Solomon Quest. They are lighter but give the same great support and comfort for all of my hiking needs.

Love my new hiking boots!
I had worn through my old Keen hiking boots and wanted something with more ankle support. I am very pleased with my move to Salomon! The ankle support is JUST what I was looking for and they look and feel amazing! The green color is very earthy. Can’t wait for my next trip!!!

Alright boot
I’ve had these for three years now and I’ve worn them on numerous hikes and backpacking trips. They’re comfortable at first, but the sole needs to be replaced. Two of the loops are busted but overall the boots have held up.

Best Boots Ever
My foot is a little wide, and I had high demands out of a hiking boot--it had to be comfortable in every single way. This is the perfect pair of boots. I am so glad I tried them on despite it being one of the more expensive hiking boots out of DSW's large selection. Absolutely worth it!!! Buy them!!

No complaints
I haven't broken them in yet, so they haven't truly been tested, but so far I have no complaints. Everything is solid, they are a little bit bulkier than my last pair though...
