Very comfortable

These sneakers are very comfortable. They were comfortable right out of the box, no break in was necessary. I use them for every day sneakers.There is a lot of cushioning inside which makes them very comfortable to walk in. They are also very supportive, they really hold your foot in place when walking. I love that they are staying very clean from the coating they have on them because I walk through all kinds of grass and dirt when I am walking my dogs. They are very breathable so your feet don’t get hot inside. My only complaint is the arch is a bit too high, it seems like the arch is really high in all the Ryka sneakers, I have other pairs and the arch is really high in all of them. All in all I am very happy with these and I am glad I bought them.

These are not true to size! I always wear a 9.5 and these had about 2 inches extra toe room . I had to exchange for a 9. I knew as soon as I took them out of the box they were very big. But they are extremely cute and very comfortable in the heels so it was worth waiting just a few more days. Ryka ships so fast! Very thankful for that .

Uncomfortable

I have been buying walking shoes from Ryka for 20+ years, and these just hurt after wearing for a couple of hours. They are a bit slippery when walking in the rain. Im hoping the new rubber toe is more durable than a sewed toe, and breathability is good. Size appears correct.

Uncomfortable Arch Support

As soon as I got these shoes in I immediately noticed the high arch support it offers but it’s a bit too high as it’s noticeably uncomfortable. It’s like having your sock balled up in the arch of your foot and walking on it all day. I did wear them to work today where I teach and stand a lot and by the time I got to my car around 5:00 pm, I had to quick them off because of the pain they were causing. They looked comfortable but they are not… they do run big so don’t size up. I wish I could return them.

I love the arch support and it is very comfortable to wear all day. I stand a lot and walk a lot and the first day I wore these. My feet were grateful.

Fabulous fit, and function

My first pair of Rykas fit perfectly out of the box and added a layer of cushion and comfort to my trail walking. Traction and support are excellence, and I was so happy to find something that was waterproof can easily take these from the trail into town given how great they look.

True to size, but literally feels like a hiking boot. Very clunky. I absolutely live this brand of shoes but don't recommend this style.
