not good walking shoes

I would not recommend buying these shoes; they are totally not good for walking. I was hoping I needed to just break them in, but nope, I walked with them for a week; now they are sitting in a bag to go to Goodwill

Not what I hoped

Fit gaps a bit at the top of the laces, resulting in poor ankle support for me. They also make a squeaky noise when walking. I really wanted to like these, but I’m disappointed so far.

Not what I expected

I have been a devoted fan of Ryka shoes for several years. I actually have a huge collection. I ordered my shoes in the wide width like usual and when they arrived I wore them to work the next day.
Before I was at work for two hours my right foot was in a tremendous amount of pain. I have a bunion on my right foot and none of the other Ryka shoes that I have leave me in pain like these did.

Beware of ankle pressure

Have other Ryka shoes however these have a very high tie string area creating pressure on the top part of the ankle making the shoe very uncomfortable.

Shoe runs narrow. I havw never had to buy a wide shoe but definitely need in this one. I wore the shoe to work and took them off as soon as I got in my car. Only worn that one time but Ryka would not allow me to exchange for a wide
