The Dot is named after Dorothy Braden, who was one of the first to learn that the Japanese had surrendered and WWII was over through her work in the cryptology program with the U.S. Military (she even knew before President Harry Truman). Because this was a top secret group, they were not allowed to speak about their work breaking codes until the NSA declassified the information in 2017.

Each R.Riveter handbag takes a journey across the country before arriving at your doorstep. Components are crafted by independent military spouses in their homes around the nation and shipped to R.Riveter's FabShop to be assembled into a one-of-a-kind product.
