The boots are very comfortable, they look better for casual use but not dressy boots use.

Scratched And Scuffed Surface
Ugh DSW online orders have gone downhill! These boots are beautiful, but unfortunately even though I can see they are brand new the surface has scratch and scuff marks all over the leather and the box was all broken and smooshed. Such a bummer. They’re going back.

I ordered a size 6W but received 6M instead. The calf area was too tight-Couldn't zip up. I also didn't like that the heels were slightly worn. I'm paying for a brand new boots not used ones. Also the box that came with the boots was ripped up cardboard.

Finally My Dream Boots need adjusting
I have been waiting for these to go down in price for they look GORGEOUS and they have regular calves not enormous. I gave in and got them yesterday. Someone said that they were narrow in the front and not too comfy in the back. I put them on and I'm. a 7.5 M spot on.. but these I knew I needed more room in the front area and that would've solves the heel feeling tight. I'm returning them for an 8M. They are classy looking. Remember the fron is a little narrow which makes for sores toes:)

Love them!
These are the most comfortable boots I’ve ever had. They compliment any outfit I pair them with. I’m thrilled to have found them. You can’t lose with the style.

Wanted to love these, but...
I really wanted to love these boots. However, the width is narrower than my other 2E shoes and boots. In addition the heel is not only stiff and tight, but painful on the foot. I loved the height of the boot. So sad they did not fit comfortably. I have wide feet, but not a wide calf and it is hard to find boots with those features. Ended up keeping a David Tate pair despite them not being a high.

Great quality and look
I've been looking for a plain, tall black boot with a low heel for several years. All the "riding" boots had big buckles and looked so masculine that I didn't buy a pair. This boot is just what I wanted, plus the quality of the leather, the zipper and the soles/heel is excellent. The fit is standard for a size 9 medium width. Very pleased with the value for what I paid, too.

Very nice boots
Very nice boots. Smooth black leather. The sole/heel are made of a material that has some give, which will help with comfort when walking. I bought a 7.5 wide because of my bunions and because there were no mediums left. They fit fine (just as well as my other boots) except the top of the shaft is a little wider than I would have liked. They give kind of a fishing boot waders look that I don't like. But the rest of the boot is nice and, since I have a very difficult time finding anything good that fits me, I'm keeping them.

phenomonal boot
absolute top quality, gorgeous! The front of the boot and full foot/ankle area are leather. The back of the boot is an intricately woven pattern (the material that is tightly woven on the back is like you combined leather with rubber, it’s super nice looking the way it is designed on the back and not noticeable if you are looking at the front. The boot has a little give to fit someone with a slight bit larger/muscular calf for a medium boned person. I would say it’s a fit for small or medium frame individuals

Nice boots but narrow
I ordered these boots online and they are beautiful but very narrow. I usually wear a medium but they won't work. The wide size is sold out so they're going back.

LOVE MY NEW BOOTS
I looked a long time for some leather boots that had a round toe and flat heel. This boot exceeded my expectations. It also has a larger circumference than other boots, without being made specifically for “wide calves”. The leather feels wonderful and they are true to size. I’m very happy with my purchase!

Nice boots but tiny calves
These Boots are lovely well made casual but very attractive the width and length of the shoe itself run slightly large but are very nice however the size of the calf is tiny. So unless you have very slender calves don't buy these boots.
