Scratched And Scuffed Surface

Ugh DSW online orders have gone downhill! These boots are beautiful, but unfortunately even though I can see they are brand new the surface has scratch and scuff marks all over the leather and the box was all broken and smooshed. Such a bummer. They’re going back.

I ordered a size 6W but received 6M instead. The calf area was too tight-Couldn't zip up. I also didn't like that the heels were slightly worn. I'm paying for a brand new boots not used ones. Also the box that came with the boots was ripped up cardboard.

Finally My Dream Boots need adjusting

I have been waiting for these to go down in price for they look GORGEOUS and they have regular calves not enormous. I gave in and got them yesterday. Someone said that they were narrow in the front and not too comfy in the back. I put them on and I'm. a 7.5 M spot on.. but these I knew I needed more room in the front area and that would've solves the heel feeling tight. I'm returning them for an 8M. They are classy looking. Remember the fron is a little narrow which makes for sores toes:)

Wanted to love these, but...

I really wanted to love these boots. However, the width is narrower than my other 2E shoes and boots. In addition the heel is not only stiff and tight, but painful on the foot. I loved the height of the boot. So sad they did not fit comfortably. I have wide feet, but not a wide calf and it is hard to find boots with those features. Ended up keeping a David Tate pair despite them not being a high.

Great quality and look

I've been looking for a plain, tall black boot with a low heel for several years. All the "riding" boots had big buckles and looked so masculine that I didn't buy a pair. This boot is just what I wanted, plus the quality of the leather, the zipper and the soles/heel is excellent. The fit is standard for a size 9 medium width. Very pleased with the value for what I paid, too.
