A few months ago, I tore ligaments in my ankle in a fall and ended up in an aircast brace and wrap and on crutches for several weeks. I manage a small business, so I had to continue with my everyday activities with my injury. Initially, my injured foot was basically bare as I couldn’t wear any of my regular shoes over the brace and wrap and it was even difficult to put a sock on it.
Luckily, I found these terrific slides! Having the adjustable strap, I found that they would easily go on my foot with the brace. I ended up buying them in black, navy and beige to match whatever shoe that I wore on my good foot. I wore one of them every day for work with different dress shoes and sandals. I also wore them with different casual shoes at other times. The slides fit comfortably with the brace and wrap and they provided some protection to my foot, especially if I had to put it on the ground. The cross straps held it securely on my foot while I was crutching, but it was still easy and painless to put the slide on and slip it off if I wanted to. I also liked looking down and seeing my injured foot wearing a nice shoe instead of just being bare. A few days later, I went back and bought the red slides as it would go with a red pump I like to wear. I wore that to a wedding, and received lots of complements. It was wonderful how so many people noticed this and complemented me on how I was dealing with my situation and not letting it get me down. My husband said many times that my bandaged foot looked cute in the slides! I actually grew to enjoy picking my outfit and shoes each day and the complements I would receive. This was good as had to be on crutches for over 6 weeks. These slides were a life saver!

Not so great
They are cute until they hurt, then they're just evil. I wore them for about 4 hours before the top of my foot started feeling the pain of rubbing. I now have cuts on top of my feet where my skin peeled away. OUCH!

Squeaky
I bought these a few months ago and can no longer wear them because the leather straps make a loud squeaking sound where they rub together wiht every step (not the sole). I have never had a shoe or sandal do this. What a shame because they were so comfortable. Money in the trash again.

Leather peels easily - keep a superglue on you
I bought it 2 weeks ago and I wore them for a little over a week, and they are already falling apart. I had to superglue the leather back to the shoe multiple times because it comes off just from walking in them. My other pair in black also needed superglue but only after the rain. This shoe is falling apart without me walking in them in the rain. When I complained to the customer service, they said that because I superglued it, there is nothing they can do and I have to go to the store and talk to the manager. Who has time to go to stores and talk to managers over products purchased online? Also, they hurt and cut into my skin until I break them in. The skin on top of my foot is beat up. This is the last pair of this particular shoe I'm buying. That's the shame - if it was structurally more sound and didn't make my feet bleed, it's a great shoe otherwise. They are comfortable after a few times and I get comments from neighbors how cute they are.

Stylish & Comfortable
Super stylish and very comfortable. The beige is a great go-to color for my summer wardrobe. The foot bed does make noises when walking if your feet sweat.

Pretty Darn Good
I have these in blue and wear them often. The color is what I needed, but the straps were messed up (reversed from what is pictured above) so they were horribly uncomfortable until I moved them. Soft footbed and they stay on my narrow feet thanks to the adjustable strap.

Patrizia Sandals
These sandals are stylish with the gold buckle on the side. I prefer sandals without straps between my toes as they cause blisters. These sandals are made from synthetic materials, no leather, like many shoes today. They make noise when one walks; I am wondering if one wore a foot covering if this would help. Comes in a variety of colors.

Rubs again my feet
I love the look of the sandel but the first time I wore them they rubbed against my feet and now the skin is off and hurts. Maybe they just need to be broken in but the reviews say they are comfortable and fit great. I didn’t have that experience.

Comfy shoes with too much Toe Cleavage.
Designed wrong. Too much toe cleavage. If you dont like toe cleavage, these sandals are not for you. They are comfy though. The leather is pasted and patched on the sides and doesnt look like it will last.

They Squeak! So Disappointed
Really like these sandals, great fit, terrific design, very comfortable, clever adjustment, but they squeak! There’s no looking past it, I’ll have to return them.
