Very light weight boot. There is not significant cushion of the foot bed in my opinion. It is easy on/off with a small zipper. The padding around the edge is more cosmetic than useful and is not good quality material. The sole is flat and pretty smooth. Not sure if it will be good on ice. They are cute and ok comfortable. I ordered 1/2 size up from my normal size and with a medium weight sock the fit was perfect
