Tektrel is lousy

The tread is horrible - constantly suddenly catching up my walking motion. Threw them out. Been buying NB for 30+ years - no more.

Positives: good fit and light weight Negatives: not much cushioning, especially in heel. Good on unpaved surfaces but feels hard on paved portions of trails

I wanted a pair of trail running shoes for multiple reasons. My first experience with them was during a multi-day move climbing in and out of a 16ft box truck, carrying things into a house and up and down stairs, and 2+ days of cleaning out multiple storage units to load/empty the truck And these shoes were amazing!! After a little recovery, some short trail runs are next:)
