After 2 months of average use, velcro no longer sticks on one shoe and sole at toe is separated. Terrible quality, very disappointed.

Awful sneaker quality

I ordered these sneakers for my son on January 21st. It’s now March 24th and the front part of the shoe has peeled back and the Velcro won’t stay together. Far too expensive to be completely useless after two months of wear. My son is on the autism spectrum and need adaptive closures to be able to put his sneakers on himself and I was hoping these would be our go-to but I’m not wasting any more money on new balance sneakers.

My kid needs wide shoes

The glue is coming undone within the first week of getting these. Kids shoes should last. They shouldn't get trash because they're kids

Faulty Velcro

The velcro stopped sticking after just one week. We've purchased these shoes two times thinking that it was just a one time issue, but we were wrong.

Falling apart after 5 days

5 days old and falling apart already. I am beyond shocked. My kid has been begging me for NB shoes to match his NB wearing parents. I got him these, which he picked out and loves. Day 1 he complained of pain on the bottom of his foot. Day 5, the toe runner is coming unglued already. I cannot recommend new balance shoes for kids.

Major issue with velcro straps

As other reviewers (this shoe is reviewed on other sites), I had the same issue with the velcro no longer adhering anymore soon after purchasing. The fit (wide) and comfort were great and if the straps held up, I would've given the shoes 5 stars. One of the velcro straps stopped gripping after a couple months and a few weeks later bother straps flap around rendering the shoes useless to us.
