Faulty Velcro

Within a month of daily wear, the Velcro on these shoes failed to attach any longer. The straps will not stay closed after seconds of being strapped on. My son is furious because he is constantly trying to readjust his shoes to no avail. These shoes cost way too much money for them to be falling apart after such a short amount of time and now I have to spend more money to get him a new pair because he absolutely refuses to put them on anymore. I see on other reviews that this has been others’ experiences as well so that tells me that this is failure on the part of the shoe manufacturer. These shoes are nice looking but the battle with my kid every morning isn’t worth it, and he should be able to get more wear out of them considering the price.

Great shoes for wide feet

My son has a really wide foot and these are the only shoes that fit him comfortably. Thanks new balance for making extra wide shoes!

I hate to write a negative review but this is so frustrating!!! All three of my kids shoes velcro failed to work after couple of months. Shoes are comfortable and kids love it but this seems like a recurring issue with many lines of New balance.. this should be resolved ASAP!!!!

After 2 months of average use, velcro no longer sticks on one shoe and sole at toe is separated. Terrible quality, very disappointed.

Awful sneaker quality

I ordered these sneakers for my son on January 21st. It’s now March 24th and the front part of the shoe has peeled back and the Velcro won’t stay together. Far too expensive to be completely useless after two months of wear. My son is on the autism spectrum and need adaptive closures to be able to put his sneakers on himself and I was hoping these would be our go-to but I’m not wasting any more money on new balance sneakers.

My kid needs wide shoes

The glue is coming undone within the first week of getting these. Kids shoes should last. They shouldn't get trash because they're kids

The velcro stopped sticking after just one week. We've purchased these shoes two times thinking that it was just a one time issue, but we were wrong.
