I bought these shoes last weekend and I am so happy with the fit, comfort and above all how good my post op knee surgery feels. 8 months ago I had a meniscectomy and have had such a lengthy recovery. I just couldn't straighten my knee fully. I wore these shoes and in one day felt immediate relief. I am walking normal again. Thank you so much for designing a shoe that is helping me recover. The New Balance Fresh Foam 520v9 are incredibly comfortable. The Fresh Foam cushioning feels soft and responsive, and the shoes provide great comfort when walking for a long time. They fit well, feel lightweight on my feet, and the overall quality is excellent. I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend them.

I was seeking another New Balance shoe as I have pretty much put my current ones through the ringer because they are so light and comfy and never hurt my feet so I knew I had to keep on with a good thing brand-wise… these Fresh Foams were the same style if not a bit more cushy… I ended up having to get a half size up from my notmal size 7 as my toes were hitting the top of the shoe too much. Despite that, when I got home and wore them for the first time the top of the shoe still felt a bit tight, this 4 vs 5 stars… maybe they will adjust to my feet eventually. I was having trouble choosing between this and the ROAV, but I decided to go for similar shape/style vs new… may go back for those but trying to stick to my replace my current sneaker.
