Disappointed

Boot folds into the top of my foot when I walk. Simply not comfortable, and too tall. The boot cuts in behind my knee when I squat. Poor zipper action. Feels like cheap zipper. Measured and used size chart but it was off. According to the chart I should have ordered 8.5, which I have never worn. I ordered eight instead. My foot was very wide according to their chart so I ordered wide but I think I did not need to. Maybe more detailed measuring instructions are needed even with a video. Pen or pencil size makes a big difference in drawing your foot, and whether your pen is straight up or at an angle will all greatly affect how the measurements come out.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Wide wasn’t really wide…

It’s a great looking riding boot but it didn’t fit “wide” which makes it uncomfortable on my feet. Was hoping it would loosen with wear but all I got was numb toes.

I ordered another pair if the Tiernan Riding Boots. I have the brown and now I've ordered the Black. The first pair was very comfortable, medium width and just the right size (9). I hope my new order (black) is as good as the first pair (brown)

Our daughter wanted mid-calf boots to tuck pants into but was unable to find any. She was eager to get these so that her legs would be warm this winter, after being without boots for the first cold spell. She doesn't wear leather and really likes these.

Runs small

Super narrow and runs small. I ordered wide fit and wide calf. Well, the calf is so wide that even with jeans, they are really loose. The big it itself was so narrow, I could not even get my foot in.

They are comfortable and look good. The quality seems to be very good. I wear a 7.5 and they fit true to size.
