Men's vs women's Sizing?

I wear a women's 9. At the store these were in the men's section and the 8 was the smallest they had, as is typical of most stock in men's shoes. They fit okay in the store but got them home and the really stretched out after a couple weeks. My husband who wears a 10 tried them on and they fit him perfect. I then ordered a 6 online thinking that would be perfect. Nope they were obviously a women's 6 way too small. It would be nice if Minnetonka included a size guide. This has been a hassle. I'm returning them. :(

I have a very wide foot (bunions) and the 6 wide was perfect. Soft, supportive for what it is, and sturdy enough to go out and run errands in. Super cozy!

They are nice slippers but definitely not true to width size. I bought wide width and they are much too narrow.

Just what I was looking for!

I have been looking for some sturdy cozy shoes to wear in the house for winter for a long time. Regular slippers are too flimsy for wearing for a long period of time. I haven't had them for long, but so far so good. They seem to be good quality, and they definitely are warm & cozy. They do run a bit large. I normally wear a 5 1/2, so I got them in a 5 as that was the smallest I could find. They fit fine, but may stretch. But I wear socks in the winter so it should be ok. If you have a foot size larger than mine, you should probably order a full size down.
