Wide width moccasin, but labeled as medium

My husband is a big fan of Minnetonka slippers, so I picked up this pair for him. Unfortunately they were too wide for him (they gapped in the arch area.) I learned that the sizes are not true from style to style. These moccasins were labeled medium width, not wide. He also prefers the style in which the inner sole is all one piece. This style has two parts to the inner sole.
No, I do not recommend this product.

The first pair that was ordered on line were too big. We returned the pair to the store, and reordered in a smaller size. When they arrived, the replacement was not that same shoe that was originally ordered, This shoe runs large and should be ordered 1/2 size smaller than what is worn. My husband was very disappointed,
