Perfect fit

I have tried other brands of shoes..and Merrell shoes are the only shoe for me. I am not going to waist my time on other brands that just don't hold up to my Merrell boots. I did go up a size just because as i have aged my feet swell and i don't care for my feet to be uncomfortable..glad i did.. and i can't tell they're size 11....i am and always will be a loyal customer..so worth the price to.. 😊

Sturdy and comfortable

In recently purchased these boots for a hiking trip to the Black Hills of South Dakota. I have had other pairs of hiking shoes and boots from Merrell and they have always been comfortable and well constructed and the Speed Strike 2 did not disappoint. It felt both comfortable and stable on rugged and steep terrain.

Not waterproof

They were comfortable and fit well but they are NOT waterproof - I wore them in the rain and my feet were soaking wet.

A dream comes true

I own many, many pairs of Merrell shoes, and most of them are very comfortable. However, I have never worn anything as comfortable as these. I have problem feet and always had blister issues with hiking boots, but I didn't even think about my feet for an entire day of hiking and walking in the mountains. I just ordered a second pair for backup. The only thing is that I had to order 1/2 size larger because they run small. I usually wear 9.5 M, but the 10 M is perfect. I NEVER thought I'd find hiking boots that I could wear comfortably. These boots are a dream come true!!!!!

I got these boots to hike at Joshua Tree park and they were very comfortable and gave a good support. I've been wearing them all day and my feet were fine.

Good quality shoes. Took these on a 3 mile walk through the woods,and then went to work and stood for 7 hours straight. No foot pain at all that evening, simply fantastic.
