Merrell Speed Strike 2 Mid Boot - Men's

Boots are ok. Waterproofing is questionable. 2 mile early morning walks on fire roads I still return with wet socks. Shoe laces are useless. After the first mile they need to be tied again.

I use these for landscaping and mowing. Very lightweight and comfortable for all day use. Waterproof so my feet stay dry

The shoe is comfortable, but it lacks in durability, and is not waterproof. Within a month, the foam sole has ripped and torn on all sides and the tread on the bottom has already rounded over. Ontop of that a part of the tongue fold rubs my skin raw on the top of my foot no matter how I adjust it.

This is my 3rd pair, and they for the same as the others. I They start out as day hiking shoes, and end their lives as yard work shoes. The fit is consistent over the years with subtle improvements along the way. Breaking them in is a non-issue. Put them on and go.

I have the all-leather version of this boot but structurally it's the same as these. After dealing with achilles tendonitis for weeks, I happened to find these at a local retailer. I'm not exactly sure what it is, but these helped get me back on the trail and allowed the tendon to gradually heal when other boots were just pressing against the achilles. They are now my favorite hikers and, in my opinion, exceed the performance of much more expensive boots. After about 100 miles, I am seeing no durability issues. The tread pattern is good for snow and dry ground. There is enough cushion and support to keep the ankles aligned and the stones from poking through. Definitely one of the best values on the market today.

Finally found a Merrell boot that can double on a snowy day as a plain black shoe in winter. Most boots have more colors on them, but this one is all black, so I can wear it to work. Had to by a wide in this shoe, but it has proven to be very comfortable.

Just what I needed for the job I have tougher than a sneaker, but not so heavy that I can't do me around so so far very happy purchase

I’ve had these over month and I’ve been worn them for work in the HVAC division. They have been very comfortable and supportive. Just like my wife. I enjoy the shoes so much. I bought an additional pair so when these were out, I can have the same enjoyment over again.
