Could be a good boot, but isn't for me

I had high hopes for this boot as I need a waterproof boot, but it just didn't work for me. I had read some other reviews on a different site prior to purchasing and unfortunately some of their complaints are the same as mine. There is a spot inside the boot, midway for the side zipper that rubs on my ankle bone. For the record,I am thin and have bony ankles. The other issue is both boots make sound when I walk like squeaking. I'm a 7 1/2 or an 8 depending on the fit and got a 7 1/2 wide; they did fit well. I'll have to head to the store to return.
