Merrell Relay Fly Zip Sneaker - Women's

I really like these shoes. I mostly use them as indoor shoes with an orthotic for support. The zipper makes them easy to slip on and off, which is important to me. I wear a running sock with a tab on the backside of the ankle to avoid the discomfort that some people noted. My only real complaint is that they are NOT breathable! There is a sort of rubbery coating on the outside, and it means that there is no airflow. My feet don't tend to sweat easily, but they do in these shoes.

I bought this for a month long tour of English and Scottish gardens. They were terrific for long days of walking. There are comfortable and light, easy to put on with no tangling shoelaces. I plan to buy a second pair in stucco color.

OK, I LOVE the look of this shoe. I used to purchase the Barrado back when it was still around and the Relay Fly Zip feels like its successor. Merrell please pay attention because I wish you would make more shoes with this profile rather than the chunky clogs that comprise a majority of your shoe inventory. The leather accents only serve to elevate it further. The only thing Merrell might want to improve on a bit is comfort, but the design is awesome. More flattering options like this please.

I bought a pair of Merrill zips years ago and wore them everywhere. When they got too scuffed, I bought a new pair. They fit like a glove! The sole is thin, so you can feel rough surfaces underfoot. But I love the ease with which you can slip these on and off.
