Feel great I have wide feet so it fit perfect only improvement I wish was more arch support

I ended up returning the wide-width boots and ordered another regular-size pair. I didn't like the look of the wide-width and are they are not totally compatible with jeans or pants

Great hiking boot! Reading to hike right out of the box; no break-in period.

My husband couldnt find a comfortable boot that was truly waterproof. I ordered him these and he loves them. We had a harsh snow filled wintertime and these did a great job of keeping his feet dry.

Toe box roomier than last pair, as received. Very comfortable out of the box.

I just ordered my 4th pair of these. I have been hiking the Appalachian Trail over the last few years, as well as some lesser trails. These shoes will take a real beating. They are very comfortable.

First off, I bought these to take the mantle from an aging pair of Columbia shoes that were similar in price (adjusted for inflation). I liked the Columbia shoes, don't get me wrong, but they were at their end of life. Second, when I was considering these shoes, I saw a suggestion from Merrell that they might run a little small, and I should consider reducing a half-size (my Columbias were 10 1/2; I stepped down to a 10 but in a wide size this time). Good suggestion Merrell. While everybody's feet are a little different, turns out mine were made for this size, or in this brand at least. Third and finally, while I can't speak to longevity yet, I can say immediately that the lateral support in these shoes is far superior to the Columbias they replaced. Again, nothing against Columbia, I just like the Merrells more.

excellent fit! i have wise feet so these are prefect and provide great support.
